Preparing Chicken? Prepare for disaster? There's a lot of preparation either way.
Know what to expect, and what you need
The Boy Scout motto is "be prepared" and it makes a lot of sense. Preparation is the key to lots of things, whether you're trying to make a Thanksgiving Turkey or you need to get ready for a direct attack on your left flank and need to dig some foxholes.
In the future, this site hopes to answer:
How To Prepare Fish - Hint: Fish and Cheese do not mix!
Hopefully you won't need to make a chicken for your job interview in 2012 while you are in labor. Likewise, preparing a will is a good idea, if only to stave off death because you're a little bit more ready for it, not that you should go any time soon, since you have to get that fish and tea ready before you can paint on your canvas for school. And So On.
Notes and Special Information
Special note: One of the top search terms on Google is "how to prepare" but there are a lot of different permutations regarding what to prepare for and what is being prepared. Some people are preparing food, while other people are preparing for the apocalypse, which is odd because if you do it right then you get taken up in the rapture and the bad guys are just going to have the stuff in your bunker all to themselves.
